Seleno Clarke - “Stimulation” (Right On) - This one gets a bit funkier as it goes.
Manteca - “Cosas De Manteca” (Sound Triangle) - Another ridiculous latin funk track from this LP. If this doesn’t make you move, you must be dead. Here is the other one I posted:

Larry Dixon & Soulful Spade - “Next Time [Part 1]” (Square Deal) - As promised, the A side to the instrumental I posted earlier. Is it me, or does Larry hit some rough notes here? Sounds like they only had enough money for one take in the studio. Here’s the flip: http://funksoul.tumblr.com/post/14571960710/larry-dixon-soulful-spade-next-time-part-2
Lee Fields - “She’a A Love Maker” (LaShawn) - One of Fields’ first 45s and a different version of this song which he would re-record and release again later. Flip of the song I posted here:

Robert Lockwood Jr. - “Howdy Doody” (Trix) - Hard drums, sweet sax.
Alan Trajan - “Speak To Me Clarissa” (MCA) - Kinda a rock/psych/funk type of thang. Hope this chick Clarissa eventually talked to the guy.
Gee Gee Shinn - “(You Can Have My Old Lady) Don’t Mess With My Baby” (American Pla-Boy) - My posting of this song in no way endorses the title sentiment at all. No one, in fact, is entitled to “have my old lady”, and furthermore, I have no “baby” to mess with. Glad we could all get that straight, now enjoy this funky song.
Larry Thomas & The Under Funk LTD Express - “Mellow Down Part 1” (H&T) - Nice funky mellow 45.
Bill Wright - “Everything Look Good (Ain’t Good)” (Momentum) - Love those drums, flip is an instrumental I’ll post soon.
Shirley Nanette - “All Of Your Life” (Satara) - Soulful sister funk. Two more gems on this LP to come eventually.
Sue Barker -“Groovin’” (Crest) - 3rd song I’ve posted from this great LP, and each one is an interesting cover version of a soul classic. Here are the other two:

King C - “That Wonderful Sound” (Nu-Sound) - OK, so the sax is kinda cheesy, but try to focus on the bass & drums. This is the flip to the 45 I posted here:

Andrew Wartts & The Gospel Storytellers - “There Is A God Somewhere” (Champ) - It’s Sunday, so here’s some gospel funk. Third track I’ve posted from this amazing LP. Here are the other two:

Jean Claude Petit -“Vepar’s Walk” (RCA) - Something a little different today…funky, with a little corniness mixed in on this jazzy number.
The Mind Liberators - “Comin’ Through” [Part 2] (Trump) - The flip side to the 45 I posted here:
